Tuning In With Adi Mantra
Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo is the mantra we use in Kundalini Yoga to tune us to the frequency of our higher self or inner wisdom. We begin each practice of Kundalini Yoga with this mantra. This sacred mantra opens us to our spiritual channel. It also links us to all the spiritual masters who perfected this sacred science.
Long Deep Breathing
Learning how to breathe long and deep is one of the most important tools within the technology of Kundalini Yoga and indeed life itself. It has many benefits including increasing energy, relaxing and calming the mind and stimulating the bodies natural healing abilities. I'd highly recommend learning and practicing this breathing technique to help deepen your awareness within your body and quieten the mind.
Breath of Fire
Breath of Fire is one of the foundational breath techniques used in the practice of Kundalini Yoga. It accompanies many postures, and has numerous beneficial effects. It is important to master this breath so that it is done accurately and becomes automatic.You can practice this on it's own as there are so many benefits, such as: releases toxins in lungs and cells, expands the lung capacity and strengthens the nervous system to reduce stress.
