Recovering from trauma takes time.
There’s no strict rule about how quickly it ‘should’ happen. Finding your own way and honoring your own vulnerability in that process is so important. I remember when I began my own healing I reached out a little then withdrew, then did a little bit more and rested again.
One thing is for sure, healing never happens in a hard a fast way.
